I realise that, but I can't understand why someone who doesn't like the Beatles or McCartney has been going on about them so much.

BBC news just did a highlights montage. In it it all looked great but if you watched all week it was a let down. Honestly I don't think TV can capture these events right, they're really for the people that attend, having been to festivals in the past it doesn't matter what artists are on, it's all about enjoying the experience and having a good time.

You mean like watching football or playing football?
I guess that the people that like it like it, a big number try it and aren’t into it, and some people know it’s not their thing.

Thought Kendrick Lamar was fantastic.

If you don't like hiphop I can see why you wouldn't like it, and fair enough.

He is probably the best MC of this generation. Supremely talented.

To be honest mate TV is not free unless you don't pay a license fee and yes I did stick to watching the main stages. My BBC iPlayer is crap anyway so couldn't get a lot of it. My whole point of it was no matter how good the coverage is it can never catch the experience of actually being there. Same with football I suppose.

Hardly seen anyone know the lyrics it was just loads of people previously posting about the cost of living crisis paying £14 for a pint pretending to look like they’re having a better time than you for TV and their own social media photos.

Just got back. That McCartney set was the best thing I've seen live. Also special mentions to Paul Heaton/Jacqui Abbott, Yard Act, First Aid Kit, Sports Team, PSB and HAIM. Outstanding weekend of music.
