ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

there was clearly issues yeaterday. Innocent people were wronged. Police handled it badly.
But they had enough policing for the number of fans with tickets.
They didn’t have the means to stop people going in without tickets.
Inwas at the euro final. It was exactly the same. I was there supporting England but a large proportion of the England fans were a disgrace - arriving without tickets and the recklessly storming in. Ticketless fans storming in, blagging in, caused the trouble on that day. You need to call out the fans even on your side.
The Liverpool end was full. Over full. Stairways blocked.
Why can’t reasonable Liverpool fans call this out.

Not digging out the morons at Wembley, but once the game was arranged with 1/3rd of the seats "empty", with hindsight, it was inevitable that some would see a chance to get in. I bet if it had been played in normal times, with a full capacity, the forced entries would not have happened.

Not having a fanzone in London was a massive part of the problem meaning everyone just went to Wembley instead

It would have been the same. Ticketless fans celebrating the event on wembley way just got brave after a few beers and coke. Mob mentality took over. The reduced capacity prob meant it was less serious
Took the family. [Poor language removed] day.
