Back 5 and these two midfielders is pathetic management. Setting the team up to fail. Gomes is the slowest player in the league but he’s in a midfield 2 with oceans of space between the front three and back 5. Predictably they’re walking through us with bugger all protection for the back 5 and no support for the stranded front three. He’s not got a clue.

He needs sacking after Arsenal, his tactics are shocking. Playing Gomes in 2 crucial games when he has barely played and for good reason as he is one of the worst midfielders in the league he is a sackable offence alone

Attitude is changing, starting to lose faith very quickly. Doing the same thing over and over again and getting battered. We sacked the kopite walrus for exactly that.

Barely. We lose more under Lampard, he’s also had the crowd behind him massively in a way Benitez never had. I’d wager that alone makes up for the tiny difference in their points per game totals.

The team feels more tactically clueless under Lampard imo, not that Benitez was much better.

Became obsessed with 3 at the back and our luck has run out with it. It's so difficult to win games when you have so little of the ball. Unless you have an incredible defence (we don't) it catches up with you.
