ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Read on twitter that there is a clause in the Grealish deal where City owe Villa an additional £15m should they win the league. Not sure how true that is, but could add a bit of extra narrative.
It's rubbish. The RS are getting excuses in already so that if it doesn't go their way, Gerrard won't have failed them because his bosses will have stepped in. It's yet another smear by the fans of a club who didn't like being smeared themselves.

I thought he was his usual sycophantic self last night.
He was mate, his usual, excitable, arselicking rs self - I really don’t get what they are on about, usual rs bollocks.

Tonally, his voice completely changes when he’s commentating that lot - higher pitched and more excitable but he’s as flat as a witches tit when he’s working on city’s games.

I bet Gerrard puts out a really weak team against Burnley hoping to put pressure on Everton and then save his best players against Man City hoping he can help Liverpool win the league.

Just heard Klopps latest interview, when he says "My squad is like having Ferrari's in the garage" ....yeah, then run on fuel and fumes

Couldn’t have put it better than Klopp. When you’ve stocked every position in the squad with 40 mill pound players then yeah it is like having Ferraris in the garage.

It’s not a magic formula for City and Liverpool is it. Massively outspend everyone then dope the players. ‘Omg these teams are the best of all time’.

Embarrassing.

He’s getting fired in the long term. Been shown up by Van Bronkhorst at Rangers, and underperforming with Villa. If he gets petty about the Burnley game and throws it the owners and fans won’t like it.

He’s on thin ice there unless there’s massive improvement next season. I’ve not seen any managerial talent from him whatsoever.

Sickening isn't it. It's the same with the whole media bandwagon. It pains me to admit it but what the RS have done so far this season is some achievement but the way the media as a whole are regurgitating the quadruple story day after day without a mention of City's possibility of 4 league titles in 5 years would beyond belief if we didn't know them so well by now.
