ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

So, I saw this comparison on Facebook. I don't think it takes a genius to figure out the flaw in the comparison. For context the only comment on the post was 'Sensational Stats' or something similar, maybe 'Amazing stats'.

Alex Ferguson managed 1320 games for United, won 38 trophies, 13 of those were the Premier League.

not even in the same galaxy. Give Alex Ferguson Klopps inhalers and you can double that trophy count.

That is it, there is absolutely no context at all as to which of the games they chose, apparently they just simply both have managed 250 games. I doubt it was his first 250 games as he didn't start off great, I believe.

Add to what has already been mentioned, Klopp is not fit to lick Sir Alex Fergusons boots when it comes to comparisons, don't care how many jarg stats are thrown up there.

Nearly got sacked IIRC.

I watched his documentary recently and he says that he had a meeting before that FA Cup game at Forest ( Robins goal ) with Martin Edwards, and he was told that no matter the result he was still going to be Man Utd manager the next season.
ah the vote of confidence from the board. I'm not doubting you frandel, the general consensus at the time was that he didn't have much time left.

All history now, he is streets ahead of the tramp in his achievements.

Sir Alex Ferguson is considered the greatest manager in Manchester United’s history. Some even go as far as to rate the Scot as the greatest in the world. Regardless, Ferguson’s era was the turning point in the club’s history.

Recently, Michael Knighton revealed that Man Utd was on the verge of dismissing Alex Ferguson during his early days at the club. Knighton said that the club had planned to sack the Scot but decided to reconsider after Man Utd’s victory against Nottingham Forest.

“If we had not won at Forest then Alex would have been sacked. I am 100 percent certain of that,” he said as per Mirror.

“Martin Edwards [United’s former chairman] and Sir Bobby Charlton have tried to rewrite history by claiming that wasn’t the case.

“But when we played QPR at Old Trafford on New Year’s Day, I was stood in the boardroom at half-time when Martin sidled up behind me and whispered, ‘we’ve got to be talking about the manager,’” Knighton recalled.

“I almost choked on the sandwich I was eating. He made it clear he felt Alex’s time was up. But then we won at Forest… the rest is history.”

Sometimes you need that bit of luck to get you through a tricky patch so you can have the time to get your house in order to be successful. Kendall was almost gone too, if Clough had been kept on a little longer at Leeds would he have eventually succeded?

No doubt in my mind that Ferguson is no 1 in terms of club managers that I've seen and even he needed that break to change his fortunes around.

100 percent true, it was a fan led review that wanted football for the fans , the government has decided that fans are more worried about the finances of other clubs than a honest football league, I believe the person who's going to be responsible for this is no other than Nadine Dorries , Bent as fk.
She's a kopite her, in addition to being thick as a tyre butty.

I see the media desperation for RS success continues, this from the BBC. They’ll be suggesting goal difference is banned next.
