ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The team that doesn’t spend any money and does everything the right way

Alisson 70 mill (doubled the record fee at time)
Van Dijk 70 mill (20 mill more than record at time)
Konate 40 mill
Fabinho 40 mill
Keita 65 mill
Oxlade Chamberlain 40 mill
Thiago 30 mill
Wijnaldum 35 mill
Salah 45 mill
Firmino 30 mill
Mane 40 mill
Jota 50 mill
Dias 50 mill

That Coutinho money sure has gone a long way. Amazing how they’ve not spent anything ever. That’s before you get to one of the highest wage bills in Europe.

Socialism fc (just ignore when they furloughed the staff because they’re so poor from covid before spending over 100 million as soon as it was over)
you have also not included the mahoosive agent's fees that they pay

Spurs boss Conte absolutely on the money in bouncing Klippety's crying remarks back at him!
'Tottenham boss Antonio Conte says Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp was looking for an "excuse or an alibi" when he criticised Spurs' style in Saturday's 1-1 draw.

Klopp said "I don't like this kind of football" and "they should do more for the game" after a good defensive Spurs showing dented Liverpool's title hopes.
Conte, though, suggested his opposing number was "a bit frustrated".

"It is important to be focused on your team not the opponent," he said.

He added: "It means you want to find an excuse or an alibi because your job was wrong."

Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table, four points off the Champions League places though they have the opportunity to cut that deficit when hosting fourth-placed Arsenal on Thursday.

Conte continued: "I want to win every game, I try to transfer this thought to my players.

"When I stay in one team, my aspiration or desire is to fight to win the title. To win the league in England is not easy. Pep Guardiola says Liverpool won one league in 30 years, it shows it is not simple.

"Maybe sometimes it's easier to win the Champions League than the league in England but after the game against Liverpool, the good answer that I heard was my players were disappointed at the end of the game.

"They felt the possibility to win the the game. We analysed the game the day after. If there was a team that deserved to win it was Tottenham and not Liverpool.

"I think in this game, Klopp understood he gained one point, not lost two points. I think Jurgen is an intelligent person."

Conte has played an absolute blinder here!!!

Jonathan Woodgate quote on BBC website. Obviously has no idea it was a jibe from Pep…

'I can understand Pep Guardiola's point about Liverpool.
A lot of people do want to see Liverpool make history by doing the quadruple. A lot of Villa fans will probably have Liverpool as their second team, not Everton and not Manchester United and they will want to see history made. It would be incredible if Liverpool won four trophies, I would love to see it.'

Personally, I'm willing to bet no Villa fan has Liverpool as their 'second team'

Guardiola got things the wrong way round when he said everyone wants the rs to win - the media yes. However I believe it would be more accurate to say every other football supporter can't stand them

Woodgate ffs - idiot. WTF does he know?

After being found guilty of attacking a student, giving him facial injuries, Woodgate was convicted of affray and sentenced to 100 hours' community service. He was also banned from international selection by the Football Association, which prevented him from being selected for the England squad for the 2002 World Cup.

He is as relevant as a fly on the window to quote the late great Jack Charlton.

Woodgate is dense. Fact

The mighty peds have ZERO injury issues within their squad, despite most of their players running around at 1000 miles an hour, full pelt for 95+ every match for them, some playing international tournaments and friendlies as well, so playing 4872 games in total this season - the most games by any team ever in the history of everything.

What a absolutely brilliant physiotherapy, health and well-being department they must have eh?

Surely deserving of an independent fa or premier league investigation as to how they have managed to do it, isn’t it?
How nobody has pointed it out I don't know. Especially when take away the forwards and VVD, the rest you don't notice. TAA has zero ability to defend and his crosses ate appalling. Take away Salah, none of the ate actually that skilful. Mane does his usual thing, when he has his back to goal, he runs backwards into a defender, he has zero ability to hold the ball. Firmino does his usual, running into a defender, hoping to get a penalty. TAA does his usual playing the ball over people's heads, he's just a faster less skilful Bolaise. That's the most suspicious thing about them, they're complete lack of skill, when you compare their players to great players of the past , they're not in their league. Also the most suspicious thing about them is none of them, have really impressed anywhere other than the RS, plus the players who have left haven't either. Salah was got rid of by Chelsea, Firmino was awful when he arrived at the RS. Milner was surplus to requirements at an average Man City side, yet is somehow playing week in week out at the highest level 7 years latef, how nobody in the media or the footballing world have questioned him is beggars belief. TAA do nothing other than overshot crosses. Their success is very similar to a coked up Sunday League team. Wenger was generally revolutionary when it came to fitness, at a time when players spent their weekends getting drunk and going to chillies afterwards. I can't believe Klopp and his team know something that nobody else does. The most suspicious thing about them, is their players that leave fading into insignificance, Chelsea, Arsenal, City and United rejects have done something elsewhere, theirs haven't.
