ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

He's no Alex Ferguson, is he?

From the BBC

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says Real Madrid are "massive favourites" when the teams face each other in the Champions League final.

The sides meet in Paris on 28 May, with bookmakers making Liverpool odds-on favourites to lift the trophy.

Real - 13 times winners of the competition - have already eliminated Chelsea and Manchester City this season, and also beat Klopp's side in the final in 2018.

“They are now the massive favourites with all the experience they have and all these kind of things," said Klopp.

I wonder what does Klopp have in his little plastic see through bag going through security at the airport?

Meanwhile they have an 'unprecedented' 7:45 Saturday evening kick off, allowing them to generate a 'famous Anfield atmosphere' under the lights.

I honestly am struggling to remember another late evening Saturday game. Just another little thing that can be done to ease them on their heroic way...
I thought it seemed like an odd time and now you mention it I can't really think of many other matches that have been to that time in a Saturday. Does anyone know if there is any precedent for it? It can't be necessary for TV scheduling as there was no PL game on TV until the Man Utd game at 5:30.

We all know the rs will win it.

Fully expect spurs to not turn up tonight. The real question is will PED's be used from the outset or do they wait till half time. Surely it would arose some suspicion though if they wait till half time again.

I believe the rights package the last couple of years has included 8 Saturday 19.45 kick offs so it does happen.

Plus this :

"As part of the new deal, BT Sport say that to help with the fixture congestion, they will change their Saturday lunchtime game to an evening slot when teams involved have played in Europe on the previous Wednesday."

Which is mighty considerate of them, but then again the broadcasters always have the best interests of the teams at heart don't they.
