if you're in the bottom three after 32 games and talking about "luck", you deserve to be there.

ref was a joke today, but we wont go down because of that. we'll go down because we've lost more games than all-but-2 teams, have the worst away record off all teams in top 4 divisions, took 3 points in 12 games in the winter (give or take), had yet another game where we didn't even get a shot on target, and haven't been able to put 2 wins together in fuch knows how long.

that's not down to var or corruption. that's down to a god-awful football team being worse than Burnley.
Wholeheartedly agree, if we go down it’s because we’re not good enough.

Let’s be clear though, with VAR there just should not still be so many discussions about incorrect decisions, the standard of officiating is far worse than our football.

Football is utterly corrupt to its core and it seems to be getting worse year on year.

Commentary team chatting about the subs changing the match. It was the foul on Gordon from TAA when he had a clear path to goal in front of him. 0-0 at that point.

Decent enough battle in parts, just rushed our chances in the final 3rd when we got them. Probably the better team in the 2nd half until their goal.

But it all counts for nothing now. I’d be dropping Gray for Rondon and pushing Richarlison out wide for the rest of the season.

Can't fault the effort - but if you've been faulting the effort over the last month or so then really you're clueless. It's been there. We simply have a distinct lack of quality.

However, we should have had a pen. Mane should have been sent off - maybe we're fortunate that Richarlison wasn't at the end.

After they scored it was game over. Only good thing is we didn't crumble.

We need 10 points. We have six games to do it. It might be too late and the players and Moshiri and the higher ups will be to blame. Lampard will take a small share, of course, but these players simply are not good enough and have put us in this position because of stupid mistakes.
Even 10pts might not be enough with rivals looking a lot better recently.

We can complain about penalties etc all we want, but we just don't have that clinical quality in front of goal. We had enough breaks and chances, we just don't have the ability to do anything with it. We need to somehow grind out a win against Chelsea now, that's our only shot

One of the best football teams in the world against relegation fodder.

It is what it is.

Everton did the minimum today - they turned up and gave it all they had.

If they did that most games, with a bit of quality we have - we wouldn't be anywhere near the relegation zone.

As it is, as we all know - we've got a team full of cowards and pricks - with a board of charlatans. If we don't go down this season, we go down soon if we don't force the change needed.

Hopefully we can snide/sneak a point against Chelsea on Sunday. Hopefully Burnley/Leeds don't get away from us until we get Watford, Brentford and Crystal Palace.

he'll probably walk
I was 10% thinking the same, and 90% thinking no manager is walking away from an 7-figure pay off. Why on earth would you?? It's not like Barca and Madrid and fighting for him. Before he came here he was linked with Celtic in the Scottish Pub League and considered by Norwich (one of the few teams worse than us) but they went elsewhere.

That said, I don't see Moshiri sacking him. Not after defeat to the RS. Moshiri -like most of us- will have been expecting a RS win. How many opposition managers go there and win in the last few years.

Relegation though, and all bets are off........
