Newcastle were as good as gone at Christmas. Only one team in the bottom 3 at Xmas has ever survived as far as I know. Newcastle will make that two now. Anything can happen don't be so sure we're gaurenteed safety over the teams below us especially when there's only 4 points in it. Had we beat Burnley and United I'd be saying yes that's us safe but we're not out of the woods yet. Vault me if we string two wins together back to back and beat Leicester

Don't know about you guys but I thought Howe taking over the barcodes whe he did was a big mistake for both club and manager. However they spent well and have moved up quite dramatically. They are still on of half a dozen shabite clubs at the bottom of the table though, us included.

I tend to think Watford have six games now as they need to win both to level with us so effectively we have two free hits on them.

Same with Burnley albeit one. So they in reality only have 7 fixtures to our 8.

Burnley also have 4 games in April to our 2.

If were level/ahead of them still we should be laughing.

Their draws seem to have stopped the second Ben Mee got injured. Him being out for potentially the season is significant.
Thought he was almost back to fitness?

My biggest concern is morale after the next 4 games. Lose all 4 and we'll be dragging our heels. If we can knock something in one or both the Leicester games and we could see some fight in the side.
