If Burnley win at the weekend we’re back to square one. We’re hoping West Ham do what we couldn’t
I see no logical reason to believe Burnley will beat West Ham away from home.

Burnley have won four games all season, whereas we've won eight, however the issue is there significant number of draws compared to our own.I see no logical reason to believe Burnley will beat West Ham away from home.

I think a victory or two will give us the leeway we need.
Burnley had that issue. 5 games without goals. Scored 3 against us and then went back to not scoring against Norwich. Couldn't be more Everton if we tried.Watford's achilles heel, is they can't score.
Last 6 or so matches, bar the odd fixture, 0 goals.
Brendan, im not 100% on this but i think its only one team that was bottom at Christmas stayed up.. im sure there's plenty above that.
Teams in the bottom 3 at Christmas have often survived.Newcastle were as good as gone at Christmas. Only one team in the bottom 3 at Xmas has ever survived as far as I know. Newcastle will make that two now. Anything can happen don't be so sure we're gaurenteed safety over the teams below us especially when there's only 4 points in it. Had we beat Burnley and United I'd be saying yes that's us safe but we're not out of the woods yet. Vault me if we string two wins together back to back and beat Leicester

Who’s said he’s out for the season? I read he was potentially back at the weekend.Their draws seem to have stopped the second Ben Mee got injured. Him being out for potentially the season is significant.
West Brom were bottom at Xmas and 8 points a drift in their "great escape season of 2004/2005. They were still bottom last game of season and needed to win last game and the 3 teams above them needed to loose, luck went their wayTeams in the bottom 3 at Christmas have often survived.
I tend to think Watford have six games now as they need to win both to level with us so effectively we have two free hits on them.
Same with Burnley albeit one. So they in reality only have 7 fixtures to our 8.
Thought he was almost back to fitness?Their draws seem to have stopped the second Ben Mee got injured. Him being out for potentially the season is significant.
Leicester play today, away at Newcastle on Sunday then again away to us on Wednesday, they are going to be knackred, really good rest for us this week, under flood lights with a enthusiastic Goodison next week is going to be a good week for us, hopfully West Ham dont let us down against Burnley
