He was exactly what we needed in there but with his fitness record I'll be astonished if he strings together multiple starts, even two in a row. Hope he proves me wrong.
 
Noticed he said, he doesn’t think he will be able to train for a week! Suppose we had to gamble keeping him on for as long as possible

It’ll be on the advice of the medical and fitness people.

Remember, he hasn’t played a proper game for quite a while, so he‘ll need proper rest and recovery.

Which means, very light training and massages etc.

He won’t just be sitting at home, watching Dicksons Real Deal, with his feet up, a brew and a packet of digestives.

Amazing performance when you consider he hasnt played in so long
 
Can only say he showed today what he can offer to the team, after celebrating the goal he was the one also telling the players to stay focused, well I presume he was, he was doing the pointing to the side of his head action. Played well and could see he was getting cramp, good 80 mins out of him.
