There is precedent for overturning reds in the var era. It can be done when there is the will to rectify a poor decision

I think a big problem we have had (amongst many others) is our inability to draw games.

The way I’m looking at it is we have been the worst team in the league by some distance from October onwards and we are still not in the bottom three having played two/three games less than some sides.

Last night was a massive win for us and if we can sort our away form out we should be fine. Sunday could be a big game if we can break the away hoodoo under Lampard.

I don’t know, I think it’s more worry and being cheesed off at the situation more than anyone giving up . It’s understandable given how we have been for the majority of it mate.

This season has given me 97/98 vibes at times and that was a horrible time to be a blue as you know.

28 last year 3rd bottom...see no reason for it to be 12 more points this year.

He was surprised at my answer but if push comes to shove I have many other interest that afford me greater joy, although Bayern Munich Semi, Highbury 84, Title in 85, Rotterdam etc have given me massive joy. I move on from it pretty quick but those will always hold a special place. Conversely the abject despair at losses dissipates equally as quickly, my Son feels it hard but he will grow and mature and realise Everton arent everything BUT They ARE Something to us all otherwise we wouldnt be on here!

It will be a dark day, if we go down, the darkest in Football memories for me, as I fear we will never recover.

I will still wake up next morning and stick some Elvis on and all will be well in the world.

It's a big if though. Burnley have won 3 games all season. Hard to think they will go on a run
Watford would need 16 points from 9 games get to 38. They have to play the rs , City and Chelsea away
