Getting rid of Benitez was the right thing to do, but he was a smaller part of thd problem. We have been run by nutters and sycophants for ages.

By far the biggest problem is the poor quality of the squad, the lack of depth and the interminable injury crisis.

We’re fourth from bottom because of all of that though. We started the season with a team that hardly won a game in the second half of the season. We spent no money and surprise surprise, we’re in a relegation battle.
 
He should do the decent thing, admit he has failed to improve the club, and put the club up for sale.

Anyone who still supports this owner is clearly not arsed about the future of the club. If we are to ever find our identity again as a club, then we need new leadership. Those who didn't support the protests, are against the club in my eyes.
