Prefer them to YouTube in all honesty. A handful in particular remind me of demented versions of a radio phone in. There are some good Everton you tubers although I find with a couple they end up being a symptom of a wider behavioural pattern of YouTube itself.
I don’t begrudge people making a few quid , good luck to them, from a viewers point it’s how they go about it and it comes across as borderline grifting at times. The live streams come across as open cash tills waiting to be filled and it’s a bit obnoxious depending on the content makers attitude/persona.
“Come on hit that like button” “join our Patreon” “we’ve got so many views and hardly anyone is hitting the like button” over and over again.
At least with twitter spaces they sort of get straight into it with no ads and constant subscription reminders
