Is this for real? The state owned companies in the Soviet Union were given to the workers. While running sibneft, he stopped paying the staff and started a "loan for shares" scheme allowing his workers to be able to afford food. He pretty much stole sibneft off the workers. He should have been clucked out of this country years ago.

so he’s made millions by making poor people pay for things they need?

Bit naive that.
Moshiri is Usmanov’s man , his wealth derives from Russian companies.
We have also received generous sponsorship from 3 Russian businesses, thanks to Moshiri /Usmanov.
We are in it up to our necks.

we aren’t in it upto our necks.

there’s no proof for it to be legally looked on that usmanov has given moshiri his money to use

i mean is mosh getting his assets froze?

nope

it’s moshiris money tho not the UKS to seize
If and when the UK government goes after Usmanov's assets, they will target USM. They will not discriminate between which part Usmanov, Skoch, Moshiri and Streshinsky own.

As for Moshiri's wealth, given Russia has doubled interest rates to try and prop up the Rouble he is considerably poorer than he was before the crisis kicked off.

Do you think Moshiri, a billionaire accountant, signed off on this if it was to commit Everton to a commercial death sentence. We can all agree that his football pedigree is beyond bad, but the guy knows how to move money around and run a business.

Relax.

He may be paying FSW wages as part of his severance so can the EU please seize that rotund 'asset'.

Please and thanks.

The invasion of Ukraine is a tragedy that doesn't look like it will end quickly. As much as that should be condemned why do we always have to be the ones jumping on the grenade.

All this fuss about Russian money in the game is maybe something that should be investigated but don't just stop there, what about Russian money in government or London generally. What about the absolutely atrocious regimes in the middle East. Sky sports happy to rim them on a weekly basis. The whole thing stinks.

"Roll up, roll up!! Football team for sale for £500M with £500M debts, with a 130 year satdium and a beach where a new one shoukld be, and who are relgation standard. Form an orderly queue"
While this is all true we'd sell easily imo. Someone with enough money, 10 billion plus type of investors, would happily buy into us assuming they're looking for a football club. Or some consortium perhaps. All the hard work with the stadium has been done. It's just the form on the pitch that needs changing. That alongside Bill K getting turfed out the door and some competent board members put in place to get better sponsorship deals etc and a new investor is laughing.

How can you say he can run a buisness but at the same time you must of noticed what a total disaster he has made out of our business.

Don't be smart - I've met many people that have been very successful in business, but when it comes to sport, have absolutely no idea.

Moshiri has been poor on the football side, no doubt, but the above hysterical commentary about the business falling apart, or the stadium falling apart, because we have halted £30m worth of sponsorship investment is incredibly small minded.

If Moshiri truly is just a front for Usmanov, then he will sell, just like Abramovich. The fact we have a stadium well underway, will only add to the attractiveness of the Club.

It’s not well underway it’s possibly ten per cent done , with about £400 million of finance required and that’s being conservative given the huge increases in inflation and materials . I do think part of the finance would have involved USM sponsoring it , with that probably not happening for a good while who is going to want naming rights when An other club with bigger and located in the capital seems to be struggling to get one

We have another 3 years to search for a sponsor, no panic as yet, also stadiums aren't paid for in one go, it can take years...
