For the money we will get screwed out of off Spurs and Levy especially, surely we can get better, more value sovereign at least some pace and that seems to be interested in football. As you can see I am dead set against this signing, which means he'll probably turn out to be great. Do we even employ scouts anymore ?

If you'd told me 3 years ago that we we're going to sign Alli and Van De Beek on the same day, I think i'd have been a whole lot more excited than I am now. This is one that could go either way, it could genuinely be the best signing we've made in a generation or it could be another utter disaster, it's down to him I suppose.

its probably a small sum up front and then larger sums in bonuses, sell-on fees etc - that way it will appear massive on their accounts and stick within our FFP
