Sad to see a player throwing their career away. Manchester United should show him the exit, it is very damaging for the club. Nike will drop him as an athlete too.

If he does stay at the club, I expect he will miss a lot of Football due to jail and rehabilitation. His value a matter of days ago would have been £100m+. Now, not even Burnley would want to pay £5m for him.

As @luuk_deventer mentioned, the main reason that people will choose to listen to the audio is to gather context in terms of the allegation.

Innocent until proven guilty and all that jazz, but hopefully a jury of twelve peers will have the opportunity to see and hear the evidence.

As a father to a girl that voice clip sickened me. To think he's talking to somebody's child like that! Not to mention the physical abuse. Scumbag!

Considering this is the same club that lays on the VIP treatment to one of their former players who has an ongoing domestic abuse lawsuit, and brought back another former player who has some...questionable....allegations seemingly paid off and swept under the carpet - I think United need to take a really hard line on this for their own sakes as much as anything else.
