Part of the reason we don't keep clean sheets is that our goalkeeper does not bail us out when we have a reasonable enough defensive display like today.

He did 3 min before their goal, and I wouldn't call that reasonable.

Duncan isn’t the answer and Everton should be going all out for someone like Kovac.

A win here wouldn't have changed that as a fact anyway though.

Yeah what's the worse that can happen ?, except loosing by more, our shoddy goal difference really doesn't need to be any worse, it can often be the single point difference of staying up or going down.

Dunc isn't to blame here, not fully. The squad is terrible, some nice individuals but as a team....shambolic. I guess that's what you end up with 5 different managers players trying to fit to grips with 5 different managers ideas.

Some improvement in second half, at least in chances and overall more effort but still not good enough.

We’re in real trouble sadly

Not real trouble yet, but that’s because the ones below are so poor. But we must improve ASAP. Dunc will have learnt from that.

Our centre midfield is awful. Starting Gomes is like playing with 10 men for most of the match. That’s one easy fix. Gordon needs to start instead of Townsend another.

IDK how fit Allan is, but looked pretty good. Townsend has been decent for us, Gordon is just miles better now. Hopefully w/ them in the lineup things improve.

Benitez has ruined us this season, dropped us into the relegation battle, bought two players, sold Digne then sacked a week later - he should have gone after the Derby.

We are in an absolute mess.
