Bit rude that lad for someone so new!

Have you infiltrated from somewhere to troll?

You seem to be in favour of Martinez? Who would be another huge mistake for us but maybe thats what you want?

Anyway im being inpolite, like I called you out on, so my bad but if you are here to troll then koff like!

we have had enough WUM merchants!
Agree with this bottom bit.

COYB on your blues!

There is no huge panic over a permanent appointment. We play on Saturday then have a week off over the international break before the Brentford game in the cup.

Let Dunc be the caretaker this weekend and make a firmer decision over the break.

Completely agree. If we panic now and go with someone without going through a proper process, we will likely be relying on recommendations from other people who are outside the football club.

We need to let Dunc and Baines have the Villa game and give ourselves a week or two to find someone to get us to the summer.

I don't think we're in a relegation battle at all myself.

I thought we could see on Saturday the difference having Mina and Richarlison made, as soon as they came on and the team we'll be putting out of the next few weeks will close down the thought that we may get dragged into it quite quickly.

The Manager we appoint now should be the man we feel is best for the long term and not what they may be like in a non existant relegation battle. We've made that error before with Allardyce.

Suspect something may happen fairly quickly, otherwise they might have said something about Duncan taking charge while they look for a new manager.

Cue Duncan being in charge for the next 10 games lol

It seems crazy to me to appoint someone full time. We can easily maintain safety with a few wins.

If I was in charge, I'd have Dunc steady the ship.
Look for a new DoF and put the plans in place for them to find a new manager, restructure the team and youth system.
Sack board members that are continually involved in the poor decisions in this club.

We need structure and a plan. I'd like us to get through this season whilst in the background actually putting together a stable plan.

One of our biggest problems is realistic views. The fans have always seemed to think we deserve Europe or even top 4. Yet, when you look at our league finishes over the last decade or 2, it's far from the truth. I'll get massively shouted down for this, but I think we need to stabilise ourselves as a top 10 side. Work on purchasing players that we can progress and sell on for profit and continue this model.

Buying players for big money and them not repaying the fee has happened too often. We're also scared to lose our "stars". We could perform much better if we began a "moneyball" type scenario at the club. It would help us with FFP, it would mean we're only bringing in players who want to progress and see us as a potential stepping stone to the "big" clubs and have us move up the table piece by piece. The erratic way of doing things has to stop.

I wish i still had your optimism but after losing to Norwich, I struggle to see where we can be confident on picking up points over the next month or so even with supposedly "winnable" games. Our only goal on Sat was a superb bit of skill from Richy but we can't rely on that every week.

Lampard did an incredible job at Chelsea. They had sold their prize asset and we’re given a transfer ban. Most people wrote Lampard of that season and said he wouldn’t achieve anything, yet he still got them Champions league football using a lot of young players.
I do think Lampard's work with both Derby & Chelsea often goes under the radar. He only came undone at Chelsea because of that pretty poor start to last season (he was sacked when they were sitting in 9th despite the fact that the table was still very closely packed) and whilst Tuchel was a great appointment I thought he was a bit unlucky. Promoted Reece James & Billy Gilmour to the senior team and both of them have cracked on. Also made some good signings (Havertz, Mendy et al) & aided Mason Mount's development.

Definitely a WUM. Very similar style to several 'pop up' accounts. In, cause a row, then out. I think the 'offended by everything' whilst offending everyone is the giveaway.

Exactly.

It would be mad to not have Ferguson in charge for at least a game with the crowd behind him and try and bring some positivity back.

Yeah I thought that was strange too. But we have some time, and our next two games are winnable home games.
