Benitez clearly isn’t going to come out and say it was Moshiri’s signing is he? Don’t know what evidence you’re looking for exactly.

But no managers have done so, or DOF's not a single one. The only people saying it are nothing to do with the club

I am happy to be educated, but no one can show me one shred of evidence other than gossip to backup these claims. I mean, not one single manager or DOF has said anything despite it ultimately costing their jobs if it was true

The point is, the only people saying this are not affiliated with the club however, 5 managers and 2 DOFs who would have an axe to grind have not ever mentioned it....and IM the plank. Take your tin hat off you fool

….a very well respected poster on here told me privately after Iwobi joined that Moshiri had brought him in against Brands advice. I can absolutely say that poster is connected to the club, will not betray what he’s been told confidentially and is certainly not a ‘weirdo’.

Other posters are articulating perfectly reasonable views based on what is being said in the public domain. I suppose I’m one of those, I hope i’m not a weirdo for having such thoughts.

Eggs, I am 100% up for buying into this theory that mosh has bought players that managers and DOFs did not want, I am just asking for evidence. So far I have been told it is "everywhere" and that I just need to look ( I did and found nothing). Other than your "source" with the Iwobi story, the rest have had zero credible foundation and feel like nothing more than rumours feeding rumours. The latest being the Mosh got a call to do his mate a favour and take El Ghazi, just WHY?!

All of these rumours seem to be perpetuated by people who are eternal moaners and haters and it just suits their agenda.

I am open to genuine information, but it is severely lacking

Yes mate, because it’s not like people aren’t tied to things like NDA’s when they leave such positions; hence the “leaks” to the Athletic the day after Brands left and a lot of stuff got revealed

But yeah, the sun is shining out Moshiri, he’s a true hero who hasn’t made a crap decision, interfered in transfers or brought in is own managers

I mean, have a word.
