I actually still see the logic in selling the player and I also don't think Digne has covered himself in glory if he really did refuse to play

But, that said, there's nothing in that statement which is anymore antagonistic than what Benitez has said in a couple of his press conferences. You've got to give the right of reply to someone if you're casting question marks over their character.
