He wants to play 4231.

For the three positions behind the striker we have:

Gray, Richarlison, Townsend, Gordon, Iwobi

One of them is useless and at AFCON, one of them is currently injured, and one of them is injured but playing through a broken foot.

So yeah if Villa are throwing in a decent winger as part of the Digne deal then I don’t see it as a massive deal to get bent out of shape about
None of these should be playing behind the striker.

Show me one of his tweets that have been proven wrong? He’s been the first to break team news and transfer news for a while now. He has connections within the club and in very high journalistic circles.

Your insistence on backing Benitez and now Moshiri is absolutely baffling.

He tweets transfer gossip minutes after journos and adds his own slant to the rumour and people think he's great.

He's either Bill Kenwright or briefed by a board member / agent as they are the only ones who would know what Moshiri and Kia Joorchbian / Mendes are in discussions aboot.

I’d stop well short of saying he’s been class, but he’s definitely made progress.

I was, by no means, saying I WANT Gordon to go out on loan, I was just hypotheising as to who will make way for El Ghazi. The signing barely makes sense in general, but even less so if we keep the five existing first team wide players (and provide another hurdle for Dobbin to have to overcome).
Reportedly the manager doesn't want El Ghazi

Granted gray cost 1.5 but if we paid 15 in the summer everyone would of went mad at the time and still be buzzing with him now.
That isn't untrue.

The difference is Gray was a young talent who hadn't been given consistent playing time since he was 21 and had shown growth in his limited minutes. El Ghazi has played 1500+ minutes the last three years and hasn't been particularly impressive in them.

15m is probably too much. He's going to come in and shoot a lot, which is fine I guess, but not worth paying real money for. And he's going to keep Gordon out of the team which makes it more harm than good.

I just messaged a mate of mine who is a villa fan. I said is this lad as bad as I think? He replied "?? yeah worse mate. He was good for us in the championship, so Villa fans will always like him, but as for premier league, he ain’t up to it".

Moshiri is mates with Mendes too and other agents acting as 'intermediaries' in transfers is absolutely nothing new. So wouldn't be surprised at all if this has been engineered by both Mendes and Kia.
