100% I can well imagine how the contract renewal went, "I want to play European football" EFC "stay with us and we will deliver that to you".

No investment or proper direction, I can imagine he was pretty p*ssed about it, but he signed a new contract so crack on. This mentalist comes in and its clear he doesn't fancy him, a player rightfully questions him (which good players should) for tactics, he gets dropped, so player wants to leave due to the manager.

He is sitting in a 5 year contract, that doesn't deteriorate that rapidly.

We lost a lot of good posters to perma bans during the height of the plotters v the cult during the Martinez years. Hopefully we don’t see that sort of behaviour repeated.
