ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Embarrassing thread this, makes me cringe reading it. Proper crying arses.

Call me a red all you want for saying it, but this is sad.
I love it here. What's not to like about taking the p out of your closest rivals - who also have a complete lack of self awareness and a cult like mentality. Comedy gold.

Don't know why people are getting so worked up about this. There's been quite a few matches postponed recently because of Covid, all of them had their merits, so why are the relevant authorities wrong this time ? The Football League were in a no-win situation. Had they made them play the match & Arsenal smashed them - especially at the semi-final stage - because they had to field a load of kids then it would have further discredited a competition that's become more & more irrelevant each season. Not only that, you just know that the big goofy German would have wound up players & fans alike for the 2nd leg & they'd have probably produced one of their 'famous comebacks tm' which would have had the press salivating about them even more. Playing away from home in the 2nd leg is a massive disadvantage for them. I think the tie is 50/50 now. It was 70/30 for them playing at home in the 2nd leg.

It does smell of special dispensation just like Man City last season who gave no clarification of the outbreak and which players had it and they only shut down the training ground for 1 day and had 12 days off, United last month getting 16 days without games just when a new manager is installed, even though they had 20 fit players and the training ground only shut down 1 day in that 16.

Man City showed a way last season how to use and bend these rules to your advantage and every club has copied them since, even smaller clubs like Leeds and Newcastle ravaged by injuries pulled out the covid excuse recently.
Not every club you liar. Palace made an application for a postponement of their game at Tottenham on Boxing Day; refused. Less professionals available then you have available for Arsenal and less acolytes in the media turning the other cheek.
Your continual “but but de oil clubs” defence” for everything your putrid club does is laughable.

Bravo mate, bravo.

It’s only what they did to Villa in the cup tie last season hence why I brought it up.

None should have been postponed
