Carlo did enough to make them look like a unit and team last season. Horrible to watch for the most part but we never suffered huge defeats, won some games we would never have thought we could, have the 2nd highest points total under Moshiri.

Benitez has come in...we can't defend as a team, we can't attack as a team. He'd rather lose and stick to his guns than adapt to get points. There's no cohesion, no real plan, not even a hint of something that you're waiting to click and feel "yes, this is going in the right direction".

He's done as a coach. Confused with what he's got, what he wants, and what he's getting but won't change. His next step will be to blame the transfers/board after blaming injuries.

Exactly, and seeing him do that so blatantly at Brentford was what broke me. How many managers in the modern era have been a goal down and refused to make a sub? Had Townsend not been likely to get a red he probably would have ended it with the same 11 he started it with, just to make a point.

I’d probably just resign. It would be embarrassing. Why would you want to play knowing you’re costing the team you supposedly support points every single week. How could you show your face? I can’t even take it in amateur five a side. This lot just trot out next game like nothings happened, then get their agents to negotiate a contract extension.

They’re robbing the club and should just resign.

It’s not happening though and has never happened.

All the feller had to do was improve on what Carlo did just by a little because he found what this squad is limited to. Basically like Martinez did when he arrived after Moyes. Just added some flair to solid foundations.

But just like that appointment...the minute they start trying to put their own fingerprints on it, it falls apart. Benitez has done just that straight from the off.

Can't argue with that mate. It's sad watching the club go backwards when we actually have been spending money and trying, it's so strange and frustrating. Put some of our players in different teams and they'd probably look twice the players but for us they're utter crap. I'm frustrated as hell but I don't see the merry go round of sacking helping either. Not sure what we do or where we go from here.

Usually I would agree with the merry go round thing. This is different though. Benitez was never ever the answer. He is/was a good manager when he can do what made him good, walking in to already decent sides, spending loads of money and going from there. There is nothing on his CV to suggest he was remotely the right man for the job. Add to that the obvious other issues which shouldn't matter but obviously do and it was a disaster waiting to happen. I don't even hate Benitez, it was a doomed job from the beginning and fair play to him for even attempting to do it but it aint going to work.

Moshiri has really backed himself into a corner with this one.

I don't even think of it as small time mate, what worries me is the fella ( and his heart is deffo in the right place ) feels Kenwright has done no wrong and he can fix it.

Kenwright is a massive crap stain on this club, it's our fault (the older fans over 40) that we haven't got rid of him. Our kids have got the club we've given them because we've let this happen for far too long

100%. We're a mess as a unit especially defensively.

We conceded something like 7 goals from set pieces under Carlo. Rafael blizted that in a handful of games.

They do need to go i completely agree. I'd start with Bill and see how it goes then Brands. Then sell up Moshi if we're still here after that. He needs competent people in at board level as that is the exact reason we are where we are right now
