The concern is how toxic things are getting. Benitez isn't the manager he used to be but he did a reasonable job at Newcastle. Difference there was their fans loved him which created a positive vibe (they were still about 15th all season). Here he's hated which creates a negative vibe.

Richarlison wasn't there.

Are you arguing here that if we had those three on the pitch we'd have lost that game?

Preposterous if so.

DCL starts and he bags at least one IMO. Gray and Richarlison from the start as well and we win the game.

Concerning that they were there for the taking and we never really looked like scoring though. They've been shipping a lot of goals.

Bruce had exactly the same win ratio as him and points after 90 games

Deckchairs / Rearrange / Titanic.

We need practically a new first team to compete.
To compete higher up the league consistently, yes.
But also To compete for 15 minutes against Brentford who were sitting on their single goal lead we also need a practically completely new team?

They only loved him because he was out spoken about mike ashley.
Take away the ashley thing and it wouldnt have been that loveable.
He wasnt stupid. He knew it would win him favour.
