Baines' left foot

Player Valuation: £90m

Should EITC be scrapped or at least wound down? There’s a line of thinking that suggests that it takes too much focus away from the footballing side of things, and that the resources could be utilised better.

We’re hardly in a position to be building and running free schools etc. when our summer transfer window didn’t even eclipse £1.5m.

Is it time the club realigned its priorities and shut down EITC? We are a football club, after all.

Discuss.

We should take note of EITC as it shows when you employ competent people in a role they’re suited for that it is generally somewhat successful.

No. They are completely separate.

I don't think they are which was the problem with promoting DBB to the board. We chose to make that the main focus when we did and it has cost us heavily since as there is no-one there to really scrutinise the football side of the club.

All in all EiTC is great and should be celebrated, but the club needs to be restructured so the football matters most.
