We need someone with a rhinos hide to cope, we've got what we deserve for chasing out all the other managers and while all of those there was a fairly obvious reason we haven't got there yet. Like it or not Benitez is our medicine we don't want, give him time to make us into an organised outfit and hand over the baton as soon as possible or get rid now and continue the managerial merry-go-round madness that has put us in this very place.

Accepting there’s mitigation, that still isn’t anywhere near good enough. Every Everton fan should be questioning the way the manager’s setting up the team and his approach. We can’t just say the players are crap, we’ve got injuries and write off game after game.
