Verstappen still finishes 2nd here IMO. Rest of the field aren't interested in battling him as they have their own races; he'll have the same benefit Hamilton had last week in that regard.

All he needs to do is get past Bottas and that's just about the easiest thing to do in an F1 car. He'll probably do him on the line.

Not really. Max has a fourteen point lead and unless Lewis wins and unless Max finises fifth or lower he could retain a very slender lead.

When the race is finished, we'll have a better picture of what the run in will be like for the final two races. Bottas being in front of him probably means sweet FA.

The interesting thing is the only place to overtake is turn one.

If Bottas keeps the inside and brakes later it's his corner.

That precedent is set.

Can see bottas being told to hold position and not overtake anybody unless you have to.

Still a long way to go, Hamilton could be shunted off the track by say Gasly and that puts Verstappen really in charge. But the same thing could happen to Max at the next race or he has an engine failure. Just look how far Kimi came back in 07 to win the title.

Yep. Or verstappen may get desperate and so something silly. Barring something silly.from Hamilton or a car failure. He wins this race at a cantor. The real race is bottas and verstappen. Amything can happen there depending on the start. Noway can verstappen settle for 4th-5th. He will have to do something. How that goes we will see.

Let's not kid ourselves, RB and Merc are there or thereabouts performance wise, the major differences are the drivers. Max will cruise past the rest and be back up to podium fight fairly quickly.
