They need it - they're about 100m in debt again - a good chunk of which was spent by Gerrard.

St Johnstone arguably had a better season last year winning both donestic cups!

He was smart enough to get out this season - the fans are happy enough he stopped Celtic winning 10 in a row but he spent a fortune in achieving that - 50m+

Dont think its amortised (if thats the right term) for another year or two - they need a good European run this year and next really or a couple of good transfers.

The RB will definitely be up for sale in January I would guess.

Wonder if he will compete with Howe on all the Liverpool reserves now, 2 managers funding them with other clubs money
 
And now for the next circus around them when Villa pitch up in a month's time. Klopp having to absorb the pre match Gerrard hype and worship for four wks and gnashing at Sky reporter /tea lady etc... Gerrard having to not celebrate when Villa score... Ings scoring the late winner and Gerrard forgetting not to celebrate - pulling tongues and flicking v's...the whole ground erupting when Mings kicks Salah up the jacksie unpunished/no VAR and Klopp strangles his heir apparent...The 'Royal Court' jesters writing a chirpy musical about it at half time ready for after the match... Nobody goes.
