That performance should convince posters here who have posted here repeatedly that Maguire is top CB.

The last 2 PL games should be final evidence that he's atrocious, easily at fault for 7 of those goals.

Only time he even looks above average on a pitch is with England when they are playing so deep with 6 defensive players in a 6-4 formation.

He's just signed a new £350k a week contract as well.

Expect Conte in just before the next international break, put a fork in Ole, he's done.

THE THEATRE OF NIGHTMARES

Is Olé still at the wheel or has be just been done for driving without due care and attention?

Time to go, or as some Liverpool fans might hope, time to give him a brand new extended contract for life?

You must be gutted with that result today.

In fairness to Maguire he is very good for England and was for Leicester as well. I do wonder the extent it is an OGS issue.

It will be interesting to see him under Conte. I think he probably goes up a level. He has a lot of raw materials.

I dont think he was ever worth 80m, but hes by no means a bad player. You dont get to a World cup semi final, and a European cup final, with a nation like England if your a bad player.
