ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

FSG will sell Salah, no way are they are giving a 30 year old next summer a £25 million a year 5 year contract, it doesn't make economic sense for frugal owners, their number crunching recruitment probably have a under the radar replacement who looks good on analytics they'll pick up not to expensive.

I can see PSG signing him, Arab player for a petro dollar Arab owned team, it's good PR for their sportswashing program.

Exactly, he makes out his some sort of football expert but he lost his entire fortune and almost ruined Palace in the process. Football chewed him up and spat him out without a pot to urinate in. An embittered man with an axe to grind. No wonder he fits in on talksport. All he needs now is a few drink driving convictions and a heavy dependency to alcohol and he will be a true talksport legend.
That's pretty much the most succinct summing up of Talk Sport radio that I've ever read.

Jordan is the best thing on football punditry though, he doesn't hold back and says it like it is.

England capitiulating to Klopp's wishes and playing 2 Liverpool players in the second international which is a walk over, allowing them to miss the two tougher games either side of it.

These are the tactics Klopp will deploy this season because he knows they have a chronically small first team pool.
That England starting line-up was effectively a B team. The likes of Henderson & TAA are B team quality on the international stage.

I like him. I can understand people saying from a business perspective hes a bit of a nobody compared to the senior owners at clubs now, and that Palace were a bit of a shambles under him etc but as a broadcaster he is a lot better than 90% of the guff you get given. To some degree I think that probably sums up the state of the media in our game really.

It doesnt mean hes correct every time, but I find him insightful.

On Staveley he called her out as a con artist before most, and has been proven to be correct. He cuts through a lot of the b/s that surrounds football.

After Thickspigsh** and Gilettine (!) I'd wager FSG wouldn't entered anyone remotely dodgy to take over the Project because the Activists will boycott the product and drive a coach (windows smashed) and horses (punched) right through any plan to sell to a questionable buyer.

Paul Joyce 's Times article on TAA's England situation is very critical of Southgate experimenting and playing him further forward. He omits to say that he wouldnt get a game otherwise, of course. Heres an extract.... Screenshot_20210906_092427.webp
