This is all speculation obviously, maybe they are paying the full 100% maybe not we'll have to see on the details of the deal.

Haaland will be Cavani’s replacement at Utd next year imo.

Not my scheme the clubs scheme and under it we maybe paying £5m less on a player who probably will refuse to play for us anyway this season and we'll be getting a LW with alot of potential coming our way.

I completely understand your point, trust me I do but thats just not how accounts work. The books will of budgeted for james wages for the full duration of his contract so any reduction in his wages means more wiggle room in the transfermarket for us.

It's most likely already factored into the fee we're prepared to pay for Diaz if the two transfers are related.
