That's for the media. He's probably been given an extra year contract while they assess whether he's finished at the top or not.

Agree, record transfers on a goalkeeper and centre half at the time and as you say third biggest wage bill in world football. Yet reporters still won't pull him on that and seem terrified to upset him, feel sure they will sign players on big fees before window shuts and then everything, especially Sky tv will be alright with the world again.

The reality is, FSG are not giving him any money, considering how much he has generated for them, they given him absolute buttons (thank god) to work with.

Their fans seem blind to it, they rather focus on other teams spending rather than their own lack of spending.
