It looks like we definitely need to sell before we can buy and release some wages.

I think aside from wages it’s also revenue to assuage profit and sustainability which means we need to sell someone for a decent fee.

That would be good but suspect we may need to make a fairly big sale, e.g. Kean, to allow us to sign McNeill.

James going probably covers 2 incoming players wages alone and you have the likes of Delph/Tosun/Kenny who could all leave before the windows end.

Yeah he was a lovely player in his first spell. Didn’t exactly light the place up when he came back on loan though.

Yeah I think that player was always in there though, some of the link up play between him Peinaar and Arteta was brilliant.

I think we would have got his best years if we pushed it through, if we get Nunes and he showed that type of ability its the type of player we are begging for, someone who can run with the ball, at pace, from the middle of the park.

Fingers crossed that’s the case. Delph and Tosun will be hard to shift. Kenny I can see going to the Championship or something.

We're not skint. We are constrained by the PL spending rules, projections for FFP (if we qualify for Europe) and a desire to remove wasted money spent.

Yes, no point having a state of the art stadium, if we're playing Accrington Stanley and Crewe in it... like Sunderland do.

Got to keep the balance, look at Spurs, their years of frugal spending have seen them regress significantly.
