I’m also puzzled about all the dissing posts. While the teams that Everton is playing against may not be Europeans, they are well known teams in Colombia and Mexico and given the different style of playing then these matches should be a good practice for the preseason and it is a great outreach and marketing opportunity for Everton in the US and Colombia.
Millonarios is a well established team from Bogotá, they have won the Colombian league 15 times and just finished 3rd last season. They are currently being coached by one of the best Colombian managers at the moment so it should be an interesting and entertaining game. Blue is also the main color of their uniform.
