Havertz misses a 'Gazza' type chance on the stretch late on, and Muller fires wide when through on goal.

Of course, loads of games of football are like that, but tactically we relied on those chances going amiss instead of imposing on the game from the off.

Never got the anti English stuff you get from some on here. The last World Cup we exceeded expectations after taking advantage of a favourable draw.

Two decent tournaments on the run is far more success than I'm used to with Everton and the draw looks good again.

The anti-English stuff comes from people who have never left Liverpool city limits and actually believe Liverpool is the best city in the world. I used to work with people with that mentality, it’s shocking but very real.

Oh that Havertz strike wasn't a chance though the same as Sterling's that Neuer kept out wasn't. Just a really good hit.

England arnt great, seem to have no threat. We scored with both shots on targets but other then that can’t think of a chance they had

Sterling shot on target, good effort but easily saved.

Maguire had a great chance, almost a free header in the box which he fluffed.

Kane had a chance from 8 yards out that he would’ve hit first time if he was confident.
