Now we know why they were holding off the announcement.....diggers at Bramley Moore will distract us

Yep and just before we appointed Carlo he was tweeting that nothing was imminent and we were still after Moyes and within 24 hours Everton announced Carlo. Nice fella and all that as others have said but he just isn't in the know any more and gets his information from Sky and the internet.

Fully expecting Everton to do the announcement tonight or tomorrow now that Alan has spoken. lol
He's out of the loop but feels safe that - because it's dragged on for weeks - he'll be safe to claim nothing will happen before Monday...but he knows certain informed noises are out there saying the weekend it'll be done - so he hedges his bets with an inconclusive tweet that covers both potential outcomes.

With the Favre backing out of the crystal palace position, the board needs to have a epiphany and opt for someone capable of developing a squad instead of a washed up divisive figure. Sorry I'm still in denial, as our board is seemingly too foolish to make the correct decision.

Ancelotti was announced on a Saturday, albeit a match-day.

No particular reason to delay it until Monday, if the deal is done.

For sure Nuno will bring in a lot of Mendes players. Which is what Levy is attracted to.

For us though, we have Brands finding players.

Rafael also has a very good eye for talent. We will probably get an influx in African and South American players

You do realise Rafael is still an ambassador and advisor for Dalian, as part of them allowing Rafael to end his contract early, Rafael agreed to stay on and over look the club for the future.

Rafael fell out with Mike Ashley when they were in the championship and stayed on for another 2 seasons.

Rafael said Chelsea fans respect him more now than they did back then.

Rafael Left Valencia after winning 2 la ligas and a Europa League in 3 seasons. They didn't sign the players Rafael wanted. At that point Rafael was arguably one of the best managers in Europe. You can't use that as a stick to beat Rafael with.
Amended for "speaking in the 3rd person" accuracy...
