Does NES coming in mean Dunc and Alan Kelly get the boot? Seems to have his own people. Not a bad thing as complete change needed

My cousin’s husband is a Wolves fan. Here’s is take on Nuno.
—————————

I love him and he did incredible things for us but the time had come for a change. The pandemic really hit us. I think we had momentum at the time and could have made champions league but we just weren't the same team after the restart. Losing Jota and Doc then the Jimenez injury were obviously major blows but overall the team looked tired and short of ideas.

Nuno pros:
Great at improving/empowering players (see Coady and Doherty)

Good at building a team identity and pattern of play

Good at instilling belief and positive team spirit

Nuno cons:
Too cautious and defensive at times,.too rigidly bound to aforementioned pattern (tbf he did try and change it last season but lacked the players)

Slow to address glaring problems - we've needed a centre back/centre mid for years

Set pieces (offensively and defensively) poor

Zonal marking - no likey

He'll start well and will be solid but thinga have a tendency to go stale. Has favourites. Didn't play some of our exciting kids until late in season but things needed refreshing.sooner.

From an EFC perspective - probably a Marco Silva part II - sorry. But who knows?

Good luck!!

Willing to give him a chance, but looks like more of the same....

Get the frustration from people hopefully a good transfer window with the players bought in will show what he wants to do with us. Dont kno much about him at all is a step up from wolves, i see us similar to a team like valencia before recent season in which he only lasted a season which is worrying. For me any manager that comes in the target is a trophy and to get us into europe every season need to solidify this team now

I actually think he's a good fit for us and will do well. I think the fans will like him and he'll get us playing better football. Vault me if he doesn't.

To put it in some perspective, everybody was 100% behind Ancelotti when he joined, but he turned out to be pretty rubbish and then jumped ship at the first opportunity. It doesn't really count for much.

Also, Wolves fans love him in the majority, which can't be said for many of our recent appointments.
This just isn't true, at all.

We were primed to move into this summer with a clear list of targets to fill the holes to allow us to kick on.. Ancelotti knew the score. The biggest disappointment was not our form or where we were heading.. it was the fact that Ancelotti himself decided to just swerve us anyway.

We're effectively hitting the reset button again and NES will absolutely not get us playing any better than Ancelotti last season, or getting us nearly as many positive results. You can vault me on that.
