That image is the one that springs to mind whenever Whittle's name comes up.
 
I was only sure it was not Goodison.
So I just had a look at the YouTube highlights and I think you have made a brilliant spot. Even though it is black and white you can see Leeds wearing dark socks which they probably would not have done in a league game at Elland Rd.
And I think that hoarding with dark blue and white writing is visible in the Clío just after the start of the second half.
What do you think @Joey66 ?

Here’s Tommy Wright with the east corner of Gwladys St. as a back-drop. You can make out the Boys’ Pen. When did that get removed?
Bit of an unsung hero, this guy. Neat footballer, always reliable and could scamper a bit too. Remember him at Anfield in 1970 "doing a Pele" - chipped the ball over Peter Thompson's head, ran round him and gave it over to Whittle. Shankly then substituted Thompson! :D
