Long term I agree, though I would have preferred Mina having the new 5 year deal than Keane. And I would love us to buy a new top class CB for next season.

But 2 mew attackers are more important. If we have to still be a low block team away from home for another season, so be it. But it’s punishing the poor teams is what we need to improve on. And better quality attackers will do that, not a CB

I read it as both too. I think we might go quite heavily this summer. Especially if there is a big sale like Kean going. Essentially treat the amnesty on FFP as an opportunity to load up,

I think Dodo and Guga are a stretch in a really key position for us. You'd have to say Dodo would be more likely as we wouldnt likely sign a RB straight from Brazil to start.

I cant see past Emerson as Brazilian right backs go. He should also be in the Brazil tournament(s) this summer so we should move on him asap.


@Stephenlloyd i dont think its advisable to give Mina a long term deal when he keeps picking up injuries...likewise Keane when hes just an oaf of a defender. Ideally id sell both and sign one top starter.

@catcherintherye how much do you think we'll spend? My hope is £100mil + sales.

I mean we have conceded the 5th least goals in the league.

Our problems are clearly not defensive.

Goals, tempo and creativity are our major issues.

Hard to judge the quality of the defenders when the midfield is so terrible the team is reliant on parking the bus

It's always difficult to say, but I think we will spend 150m+ but that will go a lot further than at any points in the last 6-8 years.

dodged a bullet there by looks of it, now thats a bad/unlucky loan by parma

Tbf though, Parma probably offered him a starting position every week and Carlo probably told him he won't start most games, so at his age and being s loan can see why he went to Parma.
