Michael Keane is not a "peak player"...

If you mean top notch...hes a limited footballer at peak value -- or he was before he was punted out the england team.

He doesnt get in any other good teams first 11.

Is Carlo thinking of playing a back 3 next season? Because again for me we would need a top class CB who can pass the ball.

Yes the midfield still needs work. A RB 100% needs bringing in.

But I also think Richarlison & DCL have been poor at keeping the ball. And another attacker or two who have different skill sets need adding to this team/squad

...our back 3 invariably means a back 5. We have no wing backs, just full backs.

We desperately need attacking threat from wide areas, I’d be amazed if that is not the key transfer requirement. Digne at FB and an attacking, conventional left winger provides real threat on the left. Similar requirement on the right.

We are ok at CB, I can’t see us acquiring unless Mina leaves (Keane won’t leave & if Holgate goes he won’t need replacing). A RB, two wingers and a back-up striker would be my guess at the shopping list.

Type of forward that would be ideal for us imo. Versatile, nippy, bit like Richarlison.

Scary but show's how much Carlo rates Iwobi, Bernard and King. Suspect all three will be playing elsewhere next season.

Agreed, better wingers and better service for dom. Rb and striker too

There's a huge difference in a player who does well in a team that is a regular eighth place finisher and the top four. Depends on what you want for the future

Michael Keane is (at best) the 3rd centre back based upon ability...hes behind Mina and Godfrey....probably Holgate too if he gets his form back.
