So, as it stands, Kane seemingly off. No manager. No idea if the Kane sale will be reinvested, loan/stadium/covid, y'know.

Whats the mood music @Yid4life ? Not a dig, seriously interested.

Downbeat. Older bids like me have seen it all before so relatively pragmatic. Younger lot think it is the end of the world. Not angry with Kane but another nail in the coffin for ENIC.

He's a classic lurker mate, I was calling his bluff.

Kane's going to City.

Which makes the Haaland-staying-put story more believable.

Dortmund is functionally saying (due to the release clause next summer) that a world-class player is worth 70-100 million euros over the course of the season to a club. The scary thing is that the claim looks sane in his case considering the spread between his present wages and what he'll command, CL qualification and merchandise sales.

Its going to be interesting to see his performances against Villa and Leicester.

Teammates heads may drop as well knowing he wants out.

Could be good for us.

Don't see Kane at City tbh, apparently he wants £80m in wages over a contract and that's on top of a £150m fee, City just don't spend that sort of money on players.

Problem for them is that they're not replacing Kane, they can't and they won't be able to.

Whatever they sell him for, they aren't going to attract a replacement for a similar fee.

That leaves the conundrum of diluting the fee received amongst several new signings, and its easy to repeat the problems they initially had, when they sold Bale under similar circumstances.

As much as I detest the guy though, Son is a fantastic player and they are fortunate to have him at least.

I dislike Spurs, they are all fur coat, so I hope this marks the beginning of a period of decline for them. It would be good for us.

They could replace him with Lukaku and have some pocket money left over.

I don't think Lukaku would fall over himself to join Spurs. He might leave Inter, but they have just won the league and he has proven himself there and has the fans adulation and everything going for him. I think if he wanted a return to the PL, he would have other options, perhaps Chelsea. He would make a great signing for Spurs though. Let's hope not.

I have a feeling they’ll come in DCL, if Kane gets his move...
