Do you think they'll just accept that it's not happening like good boys and not put their heads together to find a different way to further monetize their clubs in the future?
There has been years of effort to get to this stage. Now they know what won't be accepted I'm sure they will quietly start investigating ways that might be more palatable to the fans. What that might be, I've no idea - but these are billionaire businessmen who make a living off of selling products.
