Ironically the owners of some of the biggest clubs in the world, who look down on the MLS, have essentially just created the MLS but with better teams.

And as some others have pointed out on here its going to be far worse than they think. The problem is when Tottenham starts the season 0 for 6 and now has no hope of making the playoffs all of the fans will turn off the matches, as they arent used to their team playing meaningless matches and constantly watching them lose. Players will just start walking around, fans will stop watching, and revenues will be far less than projected.

Its a lie to say that fans want to watch their team play Barca and Juve every week. Fans want to watch their team win. They would rather see their team beat Burnley and Fulham 4-0 each week in and week out than draw and lose to Barca and Juve.

Wagyu is only special when its rare. If you have it every night, you no longer appreciate it. When Juve vs Real Madrid happens every week it will become boring to everyone within a couple of years.
