Champions League revamp

I think our clubs will find it too hard to assemble another squad anywhere near good enough to compete in the Prem', even if they're given permission, and
other negative consequences will, I think, mean that the ESL won't happen. Too hard to set up and not worth the trouble.

They would need to abandon any thoughts of ever playing in English football again. and the FA needs to threaten them with this and tell them to make a choice.

As a minimum it should be points deducted next season. Money from Super league can not be used for finance in anyway towards premier league players. No player can be registered with Premier League and SL.

Ah just "we would be in it if asked" "football was always heading this way anyway".. "they won't be getting the new stadium, football is leaving them behind" etc etc etc
I can see this mentality taking over their core base and eventually they'll just become arrogant about it and call everyone else jealous. Klopp already seemed to be laying that foundation last night.

I'd want a European Ban starting now with all teams committed to the current format and point deduction from the start of next season. 6 teams x 3 points = 18 points seems fair for essentially hurting the Premier League brand and the entire history of our game.

Stick their fixtures midweek so they can't do their Super League, if they don't turn up or play kids they risk missing out on Europe again and relegation.

They'll have their lawyers ready for this but draw it out of a few years with UEFA and FIFA's help and they'll soon come crawling back or sell up.

We can't kick them out despite wanting too.

Problem with that last one is they’ll just buy more of the top players

1) Full agreement wont happen - Steve Parrish as good as said last night we need the six in the league
2) Massive points deduction - Why / under what rule?
3) Cups - I know it's way less significant than PL TV rights, but what about TV money if it's not completed? Restart would suggest the TV will play a role in decisions to complete, even if that is now a "tick the box" exercise
4) See point one
Stop second guessing the outcome and wait for the response eh?

Christ you’re annoying

The sad thing is if one of the 6 clubs turn their back on the plans they would be hailed as "heroes".

What a shambles we are as a football community. Like a bloke caught cheating crawling back to his wife and everyone applauding his loyalty to stick around.

I'm not sure that's the case. I would imagine that they would feel about that club the way you lot felt about Benedict Arnold - thanks for the help but we will never, ever trust you.
