Over two legs Madrid wont lose this.

Them and Bayern were the two I wanted to see Liverpool get. Two vastly experienced European Cup competitors to give Liverpool no advantage, and both have right now way better players to call upon. You can bank on Hazard being back for those games too.

Porto and probably Dortmund would have fallen to Liverpool over two legs.

Madrid wont win La Liga; they'll see Liverpool and Chelsea as easy meat to chew through and get into another final. They can now see glory on the horizon.

Yeah Madrid and Bayern have getting to champions league finals ingrained in their clubs, it’s what they’re about. I fancy them even more than a red hot Mbappe led PSG to dump them out because it’s Real Madrid, it’s what they do.

Exactly. PSG can be flakey.

In any case, is there any reason to doubt that the trophy wont ultimately be heading back to Bavaria again? Not for me.
