Our daughter will be with us too so we may not be able to get as drunk but a couple of shots will make me happy enough lol

You can use GOTs day care system. I believe ForeverBlue92 is on duty most days.

(don't want to actually tag him, as he'll show up in this thread and talk about how he wants to smash Guinness stew or have a wank over sushi, blah blah blah).

How did you get on @Sassy Colombian ?

Did they like the stew?
It was out of this world yummy. I ended up leaving the biscuits out so I can be bikini ready for our beach trip lol I also ended up using the Guinness over the red wine (although next time I make it I want to try it that way but yesterday for St. Patrick' Day I went with the beer) I also added mushrooms and green beans in addition to the carrots so it has plenty of veggies. I have to admit it was so good that I went for seconds.

Hahaha, I don't think so but I appreciate the suggestion.

ForeverBlue92 has yet to paid for a thong debt he owes me so I'm not very pleased with him at the moment ;)

I am sure that you will all have a great time. There is plenty to see and do here and with easy access to some areas of astounding natural beauty.
I have no doubt, I can't wait to the moment I have the fortune to travel to England and in addition to exploring Liverpool, checking out the natural beauty of the island.

@verreauxi Has named some beautiful places, however...
If you want some more obscure beauty spots (and I say this as a born and bred Scouser), look even further afield.
Robin Hood's Bay is impressive, as Ullswater, or where my family is from, Omeath in County Louth.

Last time I was there I was burying my grandad at his home.
It's a different world.
