Well, every signing is a gamble...but what i meant was that if we have £100mil and need 5 players then thats going to mean we need to take a bit more risk -- rather than the same amount on 3 players.

In theory we have more options and can be more confident that weve cast a wide net rather than scraping the barrel so to speak.

Btw, who are our current wide attackers?

Bernard -- some say hes best as a 10.
Iwobi -- i dont know what he is but he cant cross a ball
Gordon -- on loan
Richarlison -- best up top
James -- more of a 10 out wide than a traditional wide forward...also maybe best centrally

Its not like weve built an array of attacking tools...to go for quality its going to cost serious money to improve the wide areas...and the centre...and right back :)
30m RB, 40m CM, 30m RW.

Easy as pie.

Pretty sure FA Rules state you cant play Cantwell and Davies in the same side.
Bring that Gallagher lad on loan at West Brom too and, baby, we've got a midfield!

Its a firm no from me Tim.

Our left-back is magic.

Its a firm yes from me. You need more than 2 good full backs. Leicester have about 5 good ones.

Nkounkou is a bit of an unknown in all this but it doesn't look like the manager wants to use him yet.

I expect us to keep Coleman but really we could do with a new signing and a better back up.

Well the list of fullbacks who can play both sides at a very high level is very short.

I get it, after yesterday people want to sell 90% of people and replace them.

Niels will have another year under his belt and IF we can get Europa then I'm sure he would get more games to prove himself.
