That's the 1 yes.
So either Carlo told Delph and the midfield to not pass to Neils, at all, or Delph and the midfield took it upon themselves to not pass to Neils, at all. Either way, the fact that Neils was hauled off was mad. Wasn't even close to the worst one that match. When you constantly are making runs and nobody passes it to you and the idiots who have the ball lose it in midfield, of course it's going to look bad when your position is open.

I like the boy, would love to see more of him.

According to Calciomercato, Everton have submitted a bid for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who has also been offered to Manchester United.

The Italian news outlet add that the 10-cap France international is after a contract worth €7 million-a-year (£6 million-a-year).
Love it how certain players just fail upwards. I mean, yes, going from Juve to Everton wouldn't be an upwards move but the fact that he's still looking to be on par with our highest paid one certainly isn't the best recruitment tool for someone who hasn't REALLY done anything in their career except have one of the weirdest and most annoying relationships with his mother.

I have a deep mistrust of young players, they mostly let you down.
Sure, 7 out of 10 aren't going to make it, but we're in a position where making the 3 really worth it could help us immensely. I don't really see Gordon going to the top having seen a couple games at PNE now where he looks fine and nothing more, but if he did it would be huge for the club.

I think its higher than 7 from 10.

More like 19 from 20, sure most of the other 19 will continue to play football, but not at a level that interests us.

I mean Tom Davies broke into the team 4 years ago now, do you know how many yoot players we have had around the club in the last 4 years?

Gomes, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Bernard, and Delph all need moving on. I also trust that anyone out on loan shouldn’t be coming back. Anyone talking about us needing 3 or 4 players doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
Branthwaite shouldn't be coming back?

Absolute nonsense.

I mean it depends on what you're counting. For example for me Baningime counts, but Ryan Ledson doesn't.

mumhendoscored would beg to differ on the relationship part ,as would her dog, but that's another story altogether

Never fathomed the veneration extended towards Branthwaite , he displayed attributes of promise during his brief stint playing for the first team last year, but also had some glaring errors accompany his performance as well. I know its par for youth players to make blunders but fans have a tendency to over-hype prospects, Galloway being a clear example. I thought Galloway indicated more potential than Branthwaite and ended up in obscurity with a middling championship club ,barely playing.
Also to stay relevant to this thread I feel a gareth barry type player would be ideal. A player to a nchor the midfield and comfortably dictate play by spraying passes

If Carlo had a settled squad that could compete I am sure he would blood youngsters
However he would probably do it gradually and one at a time
We are not in a position to trust and blood youngsters with the crap we have in our squad
if an exceptional; one comes in I am sure he would be played

I think the opposite way. I think when you're not a squad filled with great players is the best time to play the youngsters because they can nail down a spot easier. When you're good you want to maximize that and win so there is no time to try things.
