Everton cannot be a top 4 team with no possession of the ball. They are terrible coming out from the back. Pickford doesn't know how to come out playing and the defenders are not good at the long passes.

Like this every game really. All comes down to the midfield as usual. Too many who dont want the responsibility on the ball / can't link well and have good periods of possession.

Gomes is a prime example. Lazy, sloppy and careless on the ball. had we better ball carries and creators in midfield the defence would have so much work to do all the time.

I was gonna say. Other teams being quicker to the ball is nothing new this season. The only question is how much is a pre conceived tactical idea and how much is down to our inadequate players.
